For Old Times' Sake

After all these years, I finally regained access to my old blog. I haven’t posted on here since late 2009! Just testing it out again. It’s a long shot, but I’m curious to see if any followers are still around. Haha! Back then, we had no idea how big influencing and promo collaborations would become; it was just the norm for us. I believe I still have my first free pair of  merchandise; a pair of Guess shoes that I got from a merchant to feature on here (find post from 06.21.2009 with the ruffled blue dress to find said shoes). This really feels like opening a time capsule!

Hello, friends!!! I hope you all are well. Today, I was asked to speak on a panel during a women’s empowerment conference about owning our voices. It was such a great day. I’m feeling empowered!

Blur

Yesterday was all a blur. I had several meetings at work, it was the first day of Daddy Daycare (We pulled our kids out of daycare to be with my husband this summer. We work opposite schedules, so it's a perfect way for us to save some money!) and it was also Pilates night. I rushed around all day long! So much so that I forgot to take my picture. I got a little creative and just put everything back together on my bed, after the gym I had no energy to put it back on, get the tripod out, etc.

A Tarjay Kind of Day

Both these pants and tuxedo jacket were in the thrift store pile a few times. I got the jacket about four years ago before I was really into fashion and I couldn't figure out to do with it. The pants have been through every weight gain and loss that I've had over the past couple of years and they are still a little baggy. Now, I love them both and I am so glad I rescued them!
