Casting Call

Did I tell you all I went to a casting call for the next Brady Bunch movie today? That is what the flip and the sweater vest is all about. I had to update the look just a bit though. OK, I'm totally joking! I do look like I rolled out of the 60's :)

The boots that I'm wearing were originally purchased by my co-worker but she couldn't get them zipped over her calf. In her defense, I have the smallest calves on earth and I almost didn't get them zipped! I gave them a test drive today to make sure I wouldn't pass out from excruciating pain in my calves. They were actually pretty comfy.

Nothing Too Clever

Today wasn't very eventful, mostly work. I did however, have a great dinner at a Five-Star restaurant with hubby and the kids. Ever heard of Pizza Hut? It was superb! Uh, I was really trying to convince myself. It was what the kids wanted and whatever makes my little darlings happy. I could have gone for let's see...a 1 lb. baked potato topped with barbeque, cheese and sour cream from Dixie Bones (a cute little hole-in-the-wall BBQ place in my neck of the woods). Yum!

Blue Today Too

I was so excited when I found this dress on super clearance. First, it was an awesome price. Second, it was one size smaller than what I normally take! Winner. The shirt was a great deal too, I bought it on a Monday which is 1/2 price day at my local Thrift Store.

I'm not too sure if I like how this came together. I would have much rather have worn brown shoes. But, I know you'll find this amazing...of the gazillion pairs of shoes I have, I have no brown pumps! Brown flip-flops, check. Brown boots (3 pair), check. Brown casual sandals, check. Brown pumps have been added to my Fall Wardrobe Wish List.
