Thanksgiving Begins

Hi all,

Sorry, there will be no photo posted today. Mama Pincher (my mom) was rushed to the ER at 5:30 a.m., definitely not a good start to a Monday morning!

My poor little brother called me and says, "Mom is being taken to the hospital." Groggy me, "Who? What do you mean? What for? Who's taking her to the hospital?" Through sniffles I hear, "An ambulance." My heart sank and I jumped out of bed to make sure I was actually awake and not dreaming and continued grilling him. "What's wrong?" He says clear as day, "She can't breathe!" Tears started running down my cheeks and I instantly thought of the worst. I was dressed and out of the house in about 2 minutes.

Our family has so much to be thankful for, my mom is home and doing well! Today was definitely a reality check for all of us. This may sound corny or cliche but who cares. Never let a day go by without letting your loved ones know how much you love and care for them. When they're gone...well, you know the rest.

Todays outfit consisted of:
Yesterdays Jeans
Yesterdays Shirt
Cap to cover the bed head
Sneaks
I'm sure I'll be forgiven for not having a photo of my fabulous outfit and wild hairdo :)

I'm sorry to read this. I hope all is well with your mom and that you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving (if I don't get a chance to tell you in the coming days).

I am glad to read that your mother is okay and doing well now, but wow - what a horrible way to start your week. You don't sound corny or cliche at all - what you wrote is very true and what a perfect week to be reminded of that. I wish you and your family continued health.

I'm so glad everything is okay. I know how crazy and scary it can be to receive a phone call like that.
I hope you and your fam appreciate each other even more and i pray for the continued good health for your mom.

And i think somewhere deep down, i can let it go that you don't have a pic up today..hehe

Happy to hear your mom is feeling better. It's so true what you said. I lost a good friend last year and the night before she passed I was going to call her but was too tired and put it off.

Have a blessed holiday.
