Today's outfit was a yawner but I was really comfy and lately that's all that matters! I've been exhausted for the past few weeks. I've been trying to get into bed earlier but somehow I can think of fifty million other things to do besides sleep. Earlier this week my husband broke to me that he would be traveling to cover a D3 football game on Saturday. Bummer. Well today he kindly let me know that one of his co-workers got him tickets to the Eagles game on Sunday (if you read my post on our family portraits, you know my husband is a HUGE Eagles fan) and because he's off Saturday he has to work tomorrow which is usually his day off.
Last year our deal was when he traveled and I was home alone all weekend, I got a new pair of shoes. Since I've traveled with him a lot this year, I never had the need to bring up our previous agreement. Well, well, well today was the day!...For this special occasion, I negotiated my way into TWO pair of new shoes with an $80 budget. Not bad. The perfect opportunity to find the brown pumps I've been wanting forever.
Nine West had their Buy One Get One 50% OFF sale and I also had a 20% OFF coupon. As long as I stayed within my budget getting an extra pair is fine, right? My total was $83. Woot, woot!
When I got home my husband said, "That's ridiculous that you bought three pairs of shoes in the same color!" Men just don't get it!
